Gen 39:5

From the time he (Potiphar) put him (Joseph) in charge of his household and of all that he owned, the Lord blessed the household of the Egyptian because of Joseph. The blessing of the Lord was on everything Potiphar had, both in the house and in the field.

And when the Lord is with you, landing favor in the eyes of people comes easy. Success abounds whenever you appear wherever. The blessings of the Lord do not only prosper you, it also follow you everywhere you go, as in the case of Joseph. Critically trying to understand how Joseph rose through the ranks to become the principal house attendant in Potiphar’s house considering the fact that he was a mere foreign slave, it is only evident and obvious that there was the mighty hand of a supernatural being – God.

Do not question God in any circumstances or situations that confront you today, only shower on Him words of praise, worship, and adoration. Sometimes, all that you need to do in those bad situations is actually not prayer, but letting God know that those situations will never hinder you from worshipping Him. His wisdom and ways are unquestionable, and He will be with you wherever you go showering on you His blessings and favors. Even in prison, He was with Joseph. What an awesome God we have! (Genesis 39:20-21).

Joseph would have saved from his earnings in Potiphar’s house to run to his father and report how his brothers plotted against him, and maybe get them bow before him to fulfil his dream, but that point is not worth proving as God is with us everywhere, and He knows why we are where we are. Joseph never questioned the wisdom of God, he rather resigned to his fate and the will of God for his life.

Just put all your focus on God, not man, for He is the same yesterday, today, and forever and He will follow you with His blessings wherever you go. God grant us a fruitful week in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
