Have you ever imagined man designed without mouth, and talking not a part of human actions?

I have said it before that, ‘what makes the mouth beautiful is the words that come out of it’. The Bible says a man who can control his tongue controls his whole body (James 3:2). We hear people speak of lies, insults, curses, etc., but this ought not to be so! How can the mouth speak both blessings and curses?

Only good should come out of our mouth. This would be possible if we could tame our tongue, like we do to a horse (James 3:3). This is why the word of God is available to us. It is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks, hence, let us fill our hearts with the word of God, with whatsoever is true, pure, lovely, and worthy of praise. When we consciously feed our heart with good, soon we will control our whole body because only blessings will proceed from our tongue. Jesus said, it is not what goes into a man that defiles him, but rather what comes out.

Never underestimate the power of the tongue, for it has caused nations to war, marriages to break, futures of people have been destroyed, the peace in a nation to be disturbed, the love between friends to die out. Be watchful of your tongue – tame it. Bible says a little fire can cause a GREAT forest to be destroyed. And the tongue is a fire (James 3:6).

I pray that your tongue would yield peace, encouragement, joy, love, patience, fruitfulness, blessings, hope, truth, strength, etc. The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious unto you, the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.
