#The secret of the virtuous woman
The saying that “beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder” is very true. Each man in his own eyes knows what beauty is, he knows which acts charms him. But Proverbs 31:30 says “Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain but a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised”.
When does a man proclaim that a lady is charming? It is when she enchants him with the way she talks, blinks, how welcoming and receptive she is, how she cut-walks, how she dresses and so on. It is her acts that charms. Unfortunately charm can be deceptive and that is when people say ladies can be very pretentious. Although it is not their nature, some ladies can portray very enchanting acts for years. They return to their real self after marriage which makes men to regret choosing them.
When a man closes his eyes in the cool of the night and sees her eyes, eyes that can warm the heart, her pointed nose, and her lips so tempting, her lovely curvatures, and so on… he whispers to himself “oh such beauty”. The reality is that, that kind of beauty is not permanent: it can be marred, damaged or even fade with time.
Like every woman, the virtuous woman is beautiful and her conduct is charming but the difference between her and the rest is her fear of the Lord. The fear for the Lord is her number one secret; fueling her charm and beauty.
EVERY VIRTUOUS WOMAN FEARS THE LORD! Fear the Lord and keep His commandments.
